Master Pritish Diwan
October 24. Diwan needs a special procedure known as a "Fontan".
The hospital that initially looked at his case does not do this. Contacts to the most highly specialized hospitals are ongoing.

2002. From Andrew J. Topp, Chairman Rotary District 7490, Gift of Life:
"In Regards to Pritish Diwan, Since he is able to have the Fontain Surgery procedure done in India, and it sounds like he can afford it there, we declined his case. His father has since sent me an e-mail asking if we would reconsider because he has evaluated the success rate of the surgery done there and it is not very good, but the doctors here still believe he can have it successfully done there."  / Andy
