May 5-7, 2002, Children's Forum, in New York
This forum, to be held immediately prior to the Special Session, will gather approximately 400 children from Government and NGO delegations from around the world to discuss among themselves key actions for children.
May 8-10, 2002
Tthe United Nations, heads of state and
government, non-governmental organizations, civil society
and private sector representatives, and young people from
around the world will gather in New York for the UN Special
Session on Children, a follow-up to the 1990 World Summit
for Children. The Special Session will present a detailed
review of what has been achieved for children and what
